The competition, coordinated by the Polytechnic University of Bari and the Italian Chemical Society (SCI), involved 225 researchers from 14 countries divided into 56 teams. The winner was announced on the final day of the “Magnethon” event, held in Bari from November 17 to 19. The initiative, dedicated to the development of nuclear magnetic resonance techniques and quantitative NMR (qNMR) analysis, brought together experts from around the world (from Europe to Brazil, Canada, and New Zealand) with the aim of promoting collaboration, accelerating scientific production, and consolidating and disseminating best practices in qNMR through open dialogue and shared learning. Our group's first place in the 2025 challenge represents an important recognition of the level of scientific excellence achieved by the ISS team, the result of advanced skills, a strong propensity for teamwork, and innovative approaches. “We are extremely proud of this achievement,” declared the Directors of the ISS facilities involved. “Our first place in this competition confirms the value of our commitment to public health research and demonstrates the central role that NMR technologies can play in the development of new scientific solutions in biomedical and pharmaceutical research.” The award ceremony with our colleague Egidio Iorio:
