Area

Proteomics

This area consists of three units: Mass Spectrometry (MS), Reverse Phase microArray (RPPA) and Nanoparticles Tracking Analysis (NTA).

Mass spectrometry is applicable to semi-purified proteins to identify and characterize post-translational modifications and adducts, as well as to the qualitative and quantitative study of complex mixtures, sub-cellullar and total proteomes, biomarker research and protein complex analysis. The unit also makes use of expertise in the preparation of biological samples and bioinformatic data analysis.

The RPPA analysis studies the levels of signal transduction activity. Immunostaining, using more than 400 validated antibodies, allows automated semi-quantitative measurement of a large number of samples.

The Nanoparticles Tracking Analysis (NTA) is a method for measuring the size and concentration of particles with a diameter of 10-2000 nm in suspension which therefore finds multiple domains of application.
