High resolution NMR and Preclinic MRI

The NMR area is equipped with:

• a high resolution spectrometer operating at 14 T for metabolism and metabolomics studies in cells, biological fluids and tissues (high resolution NMR units);

• an MR system for in vivo imaging and spectroscopy for small animals operating at 7 T for morphological, metabolic and functional imaging studies (in-vivo MRI unit);

The area makes use of pre-clinical research skills in oncology, neuroscience, aging and metabolic diseases.
