NanoInnovation 2024

Wednesday, September, 11 2024, our PhD students Francesco Bonanni, Sveva Germini, Taljinder Singh, Laura Torrieri di Tullio and Valentina Zecca will present their work at the Nanoinnovation 2024 conference (Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering, San Pietro in Vincoli Campus, Sapienza University of Rome, Via Eudossiana 18).

The speeches have been included in the “BreakOut sessions” that aim to foster a more intimate and collaborative environment compared to the main event, allowing participants to delve into specific topics related to research themes, practical applications, processes and products, challenges and emerging trends, cooperation opportunities, projects and other aspects of their professional activities.

The title of the FAST session is “Biomedical applications of advanced spectroscopic techniques to study new contrast agents and cell metabolism in aging and oncology” and will take place from 17:45 to 19:15 (page 83 of the attached program book).

Rossella Canese was also invited to present a lecture entitled “MR spectroscopy in the study of human metabolism in health and disease” (within the “Parallel lectures”, session on September 11, 10:50 ~ 11:30 - page 81 of the program book).

The conference will also include two other sessions organized by colleagues from FARVA (workshop “Nano-based drug delivery systems for biomedical applications” - page 53 of the program book) and DAMSA (workshop “Protecting human and environmental health from micro- and nanoplastic exposure in a One Health perspective” - page 75 of the program book).
