+The Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) area is equipped with 4 X-band spectrometers operating in continuous wave, one of which furtherly equipped with a Q-band and 4-450 K temperature control unit. The EPR technique is applied, in vitro/ex vivo, for the study of paramagnetic systems (free radicals, oxidative stress, antioxidants, transition metals, radiation damage, metalloproteins, material defects), and non paramagnetic systems (protein structures, membranes, protein dynamics) by the use of paramagnetic labels, with applications to several fields of research.
